Interests, expertise and current research areas:
Dr Juliana’s research interests include child second language learning, language and literacy development in ESL learners and multilingualism in education. She is also interested in classroom interaction and talk, particularly in the role of language in, and for, learning. Her other area of interest is teacher education.
