Interests, expertise and current research areas

Hjh Masriatol’s research interest lies in model-based practice as studies report that models of physical education can promote physical, social, cognitive and affective outcomes and enhance young people’s engagement and learning. She is also interested in gaining a greater understanding of what leads to optimize positive attitudes, motivation, and to promote performance in various physical activity settings (physical education, sport, exercise).

Interested in supervising students in the following areas

  • Application of model-based practices in PE lessons
  • The impact of social media influencing student’s participation in physical activity
