Interests, expertise and current research areas
I am a trained and qualified Bahasa Melayu teacher, and at SHBIE, I am always interested in making lessons forevermore engaging, meaningful, and useful to all involved parties. I believe that this can be achieved by either employing authentic language learning activities that empower thinking or by creating a technology-rich, student-centric delivery or a mix of both. In relation to this, my current research areas and interests are related to teaching and learning of problem-solving skills into the curriculum and the use of digital technologies in education.
