Interests, expertise and current research areas
Dr Halida’s research interests are in the areas of innovative pedagogies, children’s conceptions of learning and phenomenography. She was a member of a national research project on 21st Century Teaching and Learning (21 CTL) through which she had the opportunity to work with a group of primary school teachers on innovative pedagogies for social studies. Her doctoral research was a phenomenographic study on upper primary children’s conceptions of learning in government schools in Brunei Darussalam.
Interested in supervising students in the following areas
21st century learning designs for various subject areas in primary and secondary school settings.
