Interests, expertise and current research areas

Dr Nordiana’s doctoral thesis focussed on “The Impact of Educational Changes in Brunei Preschools: An Interpretive Study” and was supervised by Professor Elizabeth Wood, at Sheffield. She welcomes research collaborations and research supervisions in the areas of early childhood education and care.

Further details

Dr Nordiana is currently the National Representative for Brunei Darussalam in the Asia-Pacific Regional Network for Early Childhood (ARNEC), nominated in July 2018 with the approval of the Minister of Education, Brunei Darussalam. She is also working collaboratively with the Early Childhood Care and Education Unit, and the Curriculum Development Department at the Ministry of Education, Brunei Darussalam, in monitoring and improving the quality of preschool services in Brunei government schools. She was part of the working committee for the Task Force UNESCO Project 5: Preschool Programmes for All for the Reaching the Unreached in SEAMEO Member Countries.
