Interests, expertise and current research areas
Dr Siti Norhedayah’s research interests are in adolescents’ social, emotional and behavioural development and assessment, and in psychology. In particular, she is interested in examining adolescents’ mental health and wellbeing. Her area of expertise is in validating assessment and psychological tools. Currently, her research is on Adolescent-Friendly Health Services in Brunei and she is presently finishing chapters for a book project entitled Education and Teacher Education in Brunei Darussalam in the Context of Globalisation and Reform. A future research area will look closely into exploring lesson study among teachers in secondary schools in Brunei and evaluating institutional and personal aspirations in the area of inclusive special education.
