Interests, expertise and current research areas
Noradinah Jaidi is a lecturer in Malay Language and Literacy Education at Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Education (SHBIE), Universiti Brunei Darussalam. She is currently working on teachers’ beliefs and practices in the teaching of reading comprehension as the focus of her PhD research. She also writes articles on teaching and learning strategies of Malay Language Education and has been involved in several projects and research under the Ministry of Education. She is actively involved in training and consultancy work. Her research interests include literacy education, language assessment, teachers’ beliefs and teachers’ professional practice.
